5 Self-Care Tips to Keep You Feeling Great

Self-care is so important to our health.

There’s five small things we can all do each day to help our body’s stay healthier and happier!

Lemon Juice in Warm Water

A dash of lemon juice in a glass of warm water kicks starts your digestion and helps clean your liver.  Do it at least 10 minutes before you eat.  TIP: use a straw to protect your teeth.

Exercise First

Do you exercise first thing, before the hustle bustle of the day.  How hard is it to come home from a hard day at work and summon the strength to do your exercise then?  You first. Work second.  Half an hour of any form of exercise is great!

Good Sleep Hygiene

Train your body to sleep well through good sleep hygiene.  1. Dark room. 2. Cool room. 3. No screen time just before bed.  4. Quiet room. 5. Go to bed and get up at the same times every day.  TIP: soak your feet in a bucket of warm water containing Epsom Salts just before bed (or have an Epsom Salts bath).

Plenty of Water

Hydrate your poor dehydrate body.  At least 2 litres of water a day.  TIP: buy a litre bottle and make sure you get through two of those a day.

Nature time.

Get out into nature every day.  Trees and oceans are both ideal.  Do your exercise in either of these environments to kill two birds with one stone. Or get out for a walk at lunch time in the local park.  Nature heals.  Get a bit of nature every day.

Plan to do these 5 simple things each day to help protect your health.
